I’m Alex, a business builder & consultant from Toronto.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re somewhat interested in who I am, and what I do - but before I get into what I’m working on I’ll give you a bit of a background on how I got here…

My portfolio includes a range of projects, from editorial and commercial campaigns to personal projects that showcase my unique vision.

I’ve been working in the industry for over a decade, and I’m passionate about capturing the beauty and emotion of the world around me.

worked in music & nightlife for 13+ years, which featured a pretty insane highlight reel of achievements including DJ’ing for artists like Raekwon & Pharrell, releasing numerous records under labels like Deadmau5’ Mau5trap, and touring all over the world. Unfortunately, I started developing issues with my hearing and decided it was time for a change. Between then and now, I managed to scale an e-commerce business to 7 figures, launched a real estate investment community, and started a growth consulting business before eventually moving on to where I am today. In addition to now growing the business, I’ve operate a newsletter called 📈 The Come Up, which highlights successful business owners’ come-up stories in an easy-to-read format.

🌍 I got to travel the world, host massive events, and perform alongside some of my favorite artists alive - including Raekwon, 🎙️ I owned and operated a recording studio, placed music in TV & commercials and racked up millions of collective streams and sales.

In the process, I also got pretty good at operating and scaling businesses.

In 2020, a few factors collided to make my previous business no longer feasible: between rolling COVID restrictions, chronic tinnitus in my right ear (ie. constant ringing) and hearing loss in my left ear (~40db drop @ 200hz I decided it was time to move on to new things.
